The major highlight of itel S23+ is its stunning and large 6.78” Full HD+ AMOELD curved screen. Something that you’ll hardly ever find for this budget. It is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to ensure maximum security of this precious screen. The backside has two color variants, of which the Cyan Lake color gives the shiny gradient look. There is also a more plain and dark Elemental Blue color. It has a familiar looking back camera composition, but the design still looks very premium, especially given its price. The peak brightness is 500 nits, and that is reasonable.

For those who like design and display, it is hard to leave this lower cost masterpiece. But that wasn’t the end. It comes with a very nice 32 MP front facing and a 50 MP main rear camera. We have checked out photo samples from different reviewers and both cams can capture excellent shots in daylight conditions. Especially the selfie shooter is pretty remarkable. There is also a so-called super steady video recording with the back camera for stable footages.

There is 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging which is adequate at this range. Its Unisoc T616 chipset is not a gaming chipset. You’ll find a much better MediaTek Helio G88 up to MediaTek Helio G99 chipset for this price. But for daily usage, gaming in lower graphics setting, multitasking you can expect smooth enough performance. Up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage are definitely some of its positive sides. Then there is an in-display fingerprint sensor, a very rare, high-quality feature for this cost. A big drawback is that there is no 3.5mm jack but a USB Type-C earphone could be included in the box. Check box content before purchase. Overall, this is an exceptional release from itel with some very pleasing sides.
